This '69 Camaro is polishing up nicely! This one got painted in Axalta Automotive Refinish Cyber Gray with black stripes, and is running an Holley Performance Products Terminator EFI small block backed by a 4-speed. It is undergoing a complete restoration at the V8 Speed & Resto Shop, and is entering the final assembly stage now. The V8 Speed & Resto Shop Crew will also be performing a complete dyno and road tune on the car to make sure it drives as well as it looks.
This 2010 Chevrolet Corvette features a number of go-faster goodies, including an Edelbrock E-Force supercharger. It's visiting our shop today for a shift light installation, so that the customer gets a warning before landining in rev-limiter territory. We've had 4 Corvettes in the shop over the past week or so, including a 1966 327, 1973 and 1977 350s, and this 2010. Our mechanic Trevor Spence is currenlty selling a 2004 C5... call the shop at 314.783.8325 if you need an upgrade on yours, or you want an '04 of your own!
The V8 Speed & Resto Shop Crew is hard at work on the renovation of the COMP Cams 40th Anniversary 1969 Camaro. We recently received the 690+ horsepower RHS block LS 454 V8 from Butler Performance, and it's a menacing engine that will have no problem moving this convertible down the road. The Vintage Air system is in place, with plumbing and wiring details to complete. You can follow the build in our photo gallery or forum thread, and the COMP Camaro will also be the star of several V8TV television episodes later this year!

The 1966 Ford Galaxie 7-Litre we're restoring in the V8 Speed & Resto Shop is now wearing a glorious new coat of Axalta original Ford Emberglo color and has been slathered in luscious clear. We're really excited about this car and cannot wait to see this unique color polished to perfection in the bright sunshine! You can follow the build story in our V8 Forum Thread!
The 1969 Chevrolet Camaro is one of the iconic Muscle Cars, and we work on a lot of them in our shop. Which is not to say that we don't work on other Classics and Muscle Cars, it's just that we've built some pretty stout 1969 Camaros over the years, so people know they can send us their projects for restoration, performance upgrades, or other needs. This time, a complete '69 arrived in the shop after the owner drove the Shafiroff 540 cubic-inch Big Block Chevy powered beast and determined the car needed more traction. We worked with the owner to make a list of improvements, including a complete Detroit Speed suspension system front and rear, some fuel injection modifications, exhaust upgrades, and some other items to make the car more enjoyable to the owner.
