Ford did it so much better than GM throughout the 60’s and early 70’s. GM wanted a “flush fit” look, but in using channels and ribbon adhesive to secure the glass they created channels that just catch and hold water.
Shame Ford didn’t think that far ahead when they designed the cowl on first gen mustangs. LOL
