Wow it’s been a few months already, I wish these things didn’t take so long!
Anyway I had to do a bit more work on my panels, resanding them to 800 grit and then breaking through the primer, respraying parts and blending them back in…..no wonder panel beating is a trade all on it’s own.
So I think she’s ready for paint, just negotiating with a shop to do it now.
Oh and I’ve cleaned up the old front grille and put a new ’69 badge on her, wasn’t a fan of the older style ’68 one, I think it looks nice and neat.
Had a friend come and visit while I was under the car the other day too 😉 Shares the same colours as the car, red and black! hehe
