This 1968 Camaro features a 396 coupled to a 4-speed transmission, which doubles the fun of a convertible top! It’s wearing an older paint job and is coming to the V8 Speed & Resto Shop for a complete restoration. Follow along to see the progress!

It seems to run pretty good, but we’ll be performing a complete evaluation of the engine when we get further into the project.
There is kind of an interesting take on the stripe, the painter only pinstriped above the main stripe and not below.
It also seems to have a weird angle in the front.

We noticed the a stamping in the door panel… ever see something like this? Early repro?
I can’t blame him for this.. we have one of these on our ‘62 Ford as well…
Factory Tic-Toc-Tach:
Apparently the original console gauge cluster proved unreliable, so there is a pair of AutoMeters hanging below the dash.

The wing gap is a little strong for our taste.
Some of the trim is mushed…
The quarters have had patch panels installed. In this shot, we see one of the best exhaust exits of all-time.
