This is the wife’s car that i’ve been working on and off for a few years now. there was a lot of rust so i picked up a parts car shell to help with the floor pans and rockers. Trunk pan was replaced along with the rear tail panel and cross panel behind it.
Thanks kevin i cant remember off hand who made the pieces but i did notice that they werent as thick as the originals. Just being able to get my hands on a reproduction cross rail was a huge help though :woohoo:
hi kevin i wont be tackling anymore on this car till the summer haha, right now im helping my dad with his 66 buick lesabre and were just putting it back together
Nice work. It is good to know some one even makes those panels. A friend drove 4 hrs one way to buy a rear section for his 79 trans am just to get those same panels. He is wanting me to install them when it warms up a little. Still trying to figure out where we want to separate them, seeing your pics helps a bunch.
