    This first-generation Corvette came from the factory with a Chevrolet “Blue Flame” 6-cylinder under the hood, but today it’s pushed by a Buick Nailhead V8. Recently, our friend Gale Banks snapped these photos at the Art Center 2015 Car Classic show in Pasadena, CA., and posed the question… is this cool, or what? Purists will cringe, but the interesting aspect of this swap is that this predates when Chevrolet started putting small-block Chevy engines in to the Corvette in 1955. We think it’s pretty neat, what do you say?
