That’s a good one… many years ago, back in the early ’90s, the art of sampling movies and sounds became popular. These were grainy lo-fi sound bytes that people would capture on their low-tech computers of the time and use for different error message alerts, etc. I had a Mac Performa 400 (google the specs on THAT bad boy) and one of my 8khz sound samples was that very quote. My Mac would play it randomly when the system called for a “beep”. There was a short lead-in of a steel guitar – presumably from the jukebox playing in the choke & puke. Fond memories… long before YouTube was a gleam in the Internet’s eye.

Samuel L Jackson was very colorful with his words and when we would key up our radios it was broadcast for the entire County. Needless to say, we’re no longer allowed to change our sound profiles.
