    NEW CONTEST!

IN 1969, the Pontiac Motor Division of GM built 8 Trans Am convertibles. Today, the whereabouts of 7 of those cars is confirmed, and it is a rare spectacle when one of these ultra-rare convertibles changes hands.

VIDEO: 6 of the 8 1969 Trans Am Convertibles at MCACN –

We’ve learned that one of the 8 ‘69 TA Convertibles is going up for auction at the Mecum Auction Kissimmee, Florida event in January, 2016!

This is a beautiful car, and the ONLY one build with a white top and white interior, AND… it’s a 4-speed!

We thought this would be another fantastic opportunity to have a “Guess The High Bid” contest on the V8TV Forum!

We’re seeing some big numbers, but I think that’s what it’s gonna take to bring this ‘Bird home.

I was at Mecum Indy in 2010 when the Rob Lozins ’69 TA Convertible was a no-sale at around $900k, but that was a different time and place.

I know I’m disqualified from playing the game, but maybe I’ll add my guess after the guessing is closed and before the auction occurs… I’d like to play!

This is the Lozins car in 2010. I don’t think any other ’69 TA Convertibles have changed hands since.

I’ve been to his warehouse a couple times with the Cruisin’ Tigers for a club meeting. It’s quite a site!

I think the bid & sale price for the 69 T/A will be $ 1,25000.00 to buy the car.
