On Dec 8th my Dad died. I wanted to share something about him with you guys. He was an engineer in the automotive industry. The bulk of his career was dedicated to designing A/C components. He held 4 patents. He had plaques of them hanging in his room. My brother has possession of them now but I had him take some pics of them and I wanted to post them up.

That last one, the portable crimper was my favorite. I was able to come back home with that unit.

Here’s a you tube video of that crimper being demonstrated by pops and their sales manager. I stubmbled on it and busted the old man on it. We had a good laugh about it.

    ATCO Hose Crimper:

He was a pretty smart cat. Based on the nature of this board, I thought you guys would like seeing this stuff.

Very cool post, Mike! I think we have one of those crimpers in the shop!

He was obviously a smart cat, and it obviously rubbed off on you. We’re sorry to learn of his passing, but we’re glad you have good memories of him and that his accomplishments live on.

It’s a tough deal, but feel free to share stuff on this board, we all think it’s cool!

    AND, you have the GTO!
