Yes it does! Now if i can just get the body back on and a little body work done I might be able to enjoy it before i get to old.
Ken WestParticipantBen-you are so right on the modern engines. This thing, even though not tuned and is super rich for safety will start and idle so so easy. 1 day, 1 week, 1 month or longer without running and it starts easy.
Ken WestParticipantWell winter is over so time to dust the cobwebs off and get back at it on the underside of body.
Heat cycled the engine

Got most of the undercoating off the cabin area
But still have the trunk area to do
Attachments:Ken WestParticipantMama says to get this thing on the road ASAP!!! So, I have started on the body and this is not my thing. I will do the floor areas that are covered and unseen to save some time and $$ and have the body shop do the rest. As you can see I am not lying when I say this is not my thing.
So no new complete floors just one patch panel and a bunch of JB Weld products. I know – it sucks!

The trunk floor is very pitty but it recieved the same treatment for now.
The top windshield channel and the 2 side channels of the backlight as well as the dutchman panel need to be replaced. These I will have skilled labor do along with paint work.
Ken WestParticipantContinuing on:
aAfter receiving the Wiring Harness, Computers, Intake and some other goodies I got back on it:
Finished up some temporary wiring and made a Temp firewall/dash. Filled the Cooling system, Power Steering, Engine, Transmission and Rear End with the proper fluids and lite her off:
Ken WestParticipantMoving along quickly to try and get the roller running before the end of the year and on a tighter budget than the past.
Cold Case Radiator and Fans:
Transmission cooling line routing was a trick as there was no room to run them like the factory did due to headers taking up a lot of real estate. So, around the spring pocket we go:
Install Tanks, Inc Fuel Tank, Pump and Sender:
Installed a Fuel Pressure Guage on the OEM Fuel Rail and a Mechanical Oil Pressure Guage:
Wiring Harness, ECM, TCM and intake are next…..
Ken WestParticipantOk everyone what have you done to get around the Photobucket debacle or to fix your threads?
Ken WestParticipantI quest if you use the old string method you might get close, but it would be an intresting challenge. I do like his take on the front grill and nose panel in the tilt he put in it.
Ken WestParticipantCheck put the cool surfer wagon I saw today between LA and Oakland.
Ken WestParticipantSeems like I had that done about 3 years ago. I think between sandblasting and coating was somewhere between 400-500 all together.
Being in North Central Texas I did not treat the inside of the frame. But if you want to Eastwood has a product you need to look at:/www.eastwood.com/paints/rust-solutions/prevention.html go to 2:35 mark of the video to see the Rubberized Undercoating for inside frame rails.Ken WestParticipantnytling92,
It is a 2 stage powder coat and the color is Anthracite. It is different but I like how it is an opposing color to the rest of my chassis parts.
Ken
Ken WestParticipantNo not really. Been working 60+ hour weeks for a while now with no end in site right now. So it sets for now

Ken WestParticipantThat or some designer had visions of a door stop on wheels. Sure not the normal Pontiac split grill!
