This 1965 Mercury Comet Cyclone came into the V8 Speed & Resto Shop needing some ignition repairs and maintenance. It is powered by a supercharged carbureted Ford 302 running through a C6 automatic transmission and a GearVendor overdrive unit. We replaced some ignition parts, tuned the carburetor, changed the rear gears, modified the exhaust, and swapped on new wheels and tires to freshen the look.

The car has cool badges all over it.
The engine is a warmed-over 302 Windsor piece, and its aspiration is improved thanks to a Paxton blower-in-a-box supercharger.
The package fits nicely without the need to trim the supports or inner fenders.
The owner says the car has run mid 12s in the quarter, and I believe it.
