We build lots of Camaros in the V8 Speed & Resto Shop, and each is different and unique. This is an interesting car for many reasons, beyond the 800+ HP Mast Motorsports supercharged LS7 engine. We're using a new Dynacorn body on this one that we bought from Classic Industries, so the entire car will be new. The owner had no real attachment to a particular car, he just wanted a Camaro. The car features the best of everything… Detroit Speed suspension, Baer brakes, Forgeline wheels, Toyo tires, Hydratech brake booster, MagnaFlow exhaust, and much more.

This 1966 Ford Galaxie 500 7-LItre came to us at the V8 Speed & Resto Shop after living a long and full life, with plenty of wear and rust to show for it.    This car was purchased new in ‘66 by our customer’s father and has been under the same family ownership ever since.

The V8 Speed and Resto Shop crew performed a complete restoration on this sweet 1969 Chevelle SS. The V8 Speed & Resto Shop team stripped the body, replaced the floors and trunk floor, assembled the body on the restored chassis, and performed bodywork and paint on this award-winning 1969 Chevelle. The team completed the wiring, plumbing, brakes, stainless exhaust, interior, and all aspects of the exterior restoration before driving and tuning the Chevy 454 powered Chevelle. The car won awards at the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals in Chicago, and was later treated to a Tremec TKO 600 5-speed manual transmission swap for more driving fun. We are honored to be being chosen to restore the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro belonging to COMP Cams for their 40th Anniversary!
The car includes a FAST EFI equipped LS engine mated to a TCI 6X 6-speed automatic transmission, a Heidt's suspension system, updated wheels, tires, and brakes, and a fresh paint job… among many other details. Although the car retains it’s black-and-white theme, it now has a red pinstripe on the SS stripes, updated wheels to go with the new suspension, and much more.

This 1969 Pontiac Firebird came to the V8 Speed & Resto Shop in need of the full treatment, with the goal being a Pontiac-powered, fuel injected, pro-touring road machine with timeless styling and awesome street manners. The V8 crew started from scratch on this one, performing sheet metal repairs, mechanical upgrades, outstanding bodywork and paint, assembly, and tuning.

This clean 1969 Camaro is named "Lou’s Change. " The goal for this car was to combine modern Camaro styling and performance with the classic look of the ‘69. Dan Steinhauser created the rendering, complete with a modern ZL-1 style hood with carbon fiber insert and a 3D printed grille.
We performed all the metalwork in-house, including fabrication of the custom hood, and installation of all new floors, quarter panels, tail panel, fenders, and more.

After owning this Lime Green 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass Convertible for 48 years, the owner decided it's time for some updates and improvements. It's a very nice survivor, but he wants a GREAT daily driver that looks fresh and clean. We'll be rebuilding the 350 Oldsmobile engine, upgrading the brakes and suspension, and applying a new coat of Lime Green paint. The V8 Speed & Resto Shop team is honored for the chance to make the upgrades!

This 1967 Pontiac GTO came to the V8 Speed & Resto Shop ready to start a new life. We stripped the car, performed extensive metal repair with parts from OPGI, rebuilt and upgraded the chassis with parts from BMR Suspension, added disc brakes, and FiTech fuel injection to the 400 V8 engine. We reupholstered the complete interior and vinyl top in-house. The body was restored and painted in Tyrol blue, and the GTO scored top honors at the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals in Chicago on its first time out!

This 1964 Chevrolet Corvette visited the V8 Speed & Resto Shop for completion of various restoration items. On the list include some electrical rewiring, cosmetic updates, engine tuning, and overall drivability improvements. It's also going to recieve a whole new look thanks to custom paint and striping. We're happy to help return this cool 350 4-speed powered '64 Corvette back to the road!

This 1969 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster wasn’t just getting a makeover, it was undergoing a complete metamorphosis at the V8 Speed and Resto Shop. Gone was the original small-block Chevy 350 V8 and 4-speed transmission, replaced with a heart-pounding 427 cubic inch big-block engine and a smooth-shifting Tremec TKX 5-speed transmission. This cool 1977 Pontiac Trans Am has been in our customer's family since new, and in fact, our customer picked out the color at the dealership when he was just 4 years old!
