Top Corvettes Volume 2 – Muscle Car Of The Week Episode 369 V8TV

There are many awesome Corvettes in The Brothers Collection, and while it’s true that this show is called Muscle Car Of The Week, and the Chevrolet Corvette is technically a sports car, the cars featured on this show are nearly all from The Brothers Collection, so we included them in our feature coverage from time to time. Today, we’re taking a look at some of the more popular Corvettes we’ve shown on episodes of Muscle Car Of The Week.

Sometimes high performance is as simple as black and white! This Polar White 1968 Corvette features the aluminum headed L89 427 435 HP V8, a 4-speed, and less than 10,000 miles on the odometer.
And this, my friends, is the 1968 Chevrolet Corvette 427 with the L 89 option 435 hp V8 engine that breathes through 3 2 barrel carburetors and an aluminum intake manifold, and the very rare L 89 option – which is how General Motors pronounced “Aluminum Heads”.

Mid-year Corvettes have a lot going for them, with style for miles and power to spare. This one got me all twitter pated by the looks alone, but as in any solid romance, looks are only part of the attraction. Wake up the rowdy 427, and it becomes a full-on obsession.
This 1966 Corvette is bathed in Nassau Blue, a color named for the waters surrounding the capital city of the Bahamas. And for good reason… a spin in this stingray is like a vacation, and the 427 makes for a direct flight!

This 1958 Chevrolet Corvette is long on style in Signet Red with Snowcrest White cove inserts. It was a new design for ‘58, with a first-ever Corvette styling element… can you spot it?

~Muscle Car Of The Week Episode #124: 1971 Chevrolet Corvette 454 LS6

This week, we spend some time in a beautiful 1971 Corvette powered by the 425 HP LS6 454 V8. This car is finished in War Bonnet Yellow, and is one of less than 200 built in this combination.

~Muscle Car Of The Week Video #28: 1967 Corvette L88 Roadster

The Brothers Collection is home to some of the most collectible Corvettes in the world, and this week’s Muscle Car Of The Week is a great example. It’s a 1967 L88 427 Corvette Convertible, one of just 20 L88s made in 1967. It seems the number of convertibles versus hardtop ’67 L88s is the subject of debate, but it’s safe to say that this is one of the rarest Corvettes ever built.
The 435 HP L88 427 is the stuff of legends, and the L88 Corvette is devoid of nearly all creature comforts, but the distinctive styling and “L88” hood make it look as fast as it is. Watch the video to learn all the details of this amazing car.
