The world was thrown a curve ball during the 2020 pandemic, but that did not stop the Specialty Equipment Market Association from celebrating their Hall Of Fame inductees, innovators, and 2020 SEMA Award winners. This time, the Awards Ceremony was broadcast on what would have been the Thursday night of the 2020 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. The event was hosted by motorsports announcer Jared DeAnda and V8TV’s Kevin Oeste.

Join Kevin Oeste as he announces the winners of the New Products Awards for the SEMA360. 1939 LaSalle Ambulance Restoration Photo Gallery

The 1939 LaSalle restored by the V8 Speed & Resto Shop won first place in its class at the 2020 Cadillac & LaSalle Club Grand National Virtual Car Show over the weekend! Hundreds of cars were entered, and there were 40 or so LaSalles in its class, but the red 1939 ambulance took home top honors. Congrats to the owner and the V8 Speed & Resto Shop team on another first place win! We’re fortunate for the opportunity to work with great people on great cars! #showwinner #v8speedshop #restoration

Ed Tillrock is known as the “Nitro Filled Pencil” for good reason… he’s got an amazing talent for creating nearly photo-realistic images with tools as simple as pencil and paper. He’s also well versed in colored pencil, oil painting, and other media, and his extensive background in architectural renderings gives him a keen eye for accurate perspective detail. Today, Ed creates original art that he likes, as well as doing commissioned pieces for other customers and has been seen at car shows all over the country including being the featured artist at the SEMA show in Las Vegas. Kevin and Mike had the chance to chat with Ed on this episode, and even tried to stump him with their useless automotive trivia, all on this episode of the V8 Radio Podcast!
