V8’s own Kevin Oeste is honored and excited to join Jeff Smith and Cam Benty on the Car Guy Confessions podcast presented by ARP! Jeff and Cam both have long careers writing Oeste’s favorite car magazines like Hot Rod, Car Craft, Motor Trend, and others. This Podcast shares the story of how Oeste was able to join the ranks at Petersen Publishing and work at Hot Rod along side these two car culture icons. Ed Tillrock is an amazing artist, hot rodder, and a great friend of all of us at the V8 Speed and Resto Shop. This month, Ed’s outstanding work is featured on the cover – and inside – the latest CARtoons Magazine! CARtoons is part of the DNA of so many of us who grew up with the passion for cool cars, so it’s great to see Ed’s work in the mix. CARtoons Publisher Marc Methot is also a buddy of ours, and we’re honored to be able to call both of these talented car-guys friends. Our advice is to pick up the latest issue and subscribe to CARtoons as soon as you can so you don’t miss it! And if you’re reading this in the future, CARtoons usually has some back issues in-stock, but there’s no guarantee!

The show is presented by It’s Alive Automotive, and this week, hosts Jeff Homsher and Josh Gilbert welcomed V8 Speed And Resto Shop‘s Kevin Oeste to provide some perspective on building modified cars. It’s alive Automotive specializes in sales and correct and original restorations of European sports cars, and owner Jeff Homsher and Kevin Oeste shared how each of their shops handle modifications. International Magazines Cover The 2022 Show, V8 Speed and Resto’s Kevin Oeste Makes Cameo

British magazines Classic Fords Modified and Retro Ford Magazine feature 10 pages of the top modified Mustang and Ford builds from SEMA Show ’22, in the latest issue. SEMA is the largest automotive aftermarket event of the year. If you are lucky enough to experience SEMA you are sure to experience Kevin Oeste. Kevin hosts SEMA Ignited and SEMA Central which include interviews with automotive celebrities, industry experts and influencers. SEMA 2022 was anticipated by many after coming off the pandemic years; however, SEMA 2023 just may prove there are further enhancements and higher exceptions.

LIA Magazine (Ladies In Autosports) is a colorful female-themed rod & custom online & in print magazine published by longtime Midwest photojournalists Julia and John Aschenberg. Julia and John meet ladies of all facets of the industry; welders, fabricators, upholsters, painters, pin stripers, etc. This issue embarks on the 20 year story of the V8 Speed and Resto Shop featuring owner Kelle Oeste. The Wall Street Journal recently ran a feature story on the effects of rising interest rates on small business across America, and they interviewed V8 Speed and Resto Shop owner Kelle Oeste as a source. The feature discussed how the interest rates affect credit lines and cashflow of a small business, and Kelle provided her feedback on how this has impacted the V8 Speed and Resto Shop.
