We’re honored our friends at Street Muscle Magazine chose to feature the 1964 Chevrolet Corvette custom restomod we built at the V8 Speed and Resto Shop! They clearly understand the concept behind the car, and said some very kind things about it. Read the article here, or watch the build video on this fun Corvette!

Ed Tillrock is an amazing artist, hot rodder, and a great friend of all of us at the V8 Speed and Resto Shop. This month, Ed’s outstanding work is featured on the cover – and inside – the latest CARtoons Magazine! CARtoons is part of the DNA of so many of us who grew up with the passion for cool cars, so it’s great to see Ed’s work in the mix. CARtoons Publisher Marc Methot is also a buddy of ours, and we’re honored to be able to call both of these talented car-guys friends. Our advice is to pick up the latest issue and subscribe to CARtoons as soon as you can so you don’t miss it! And if you’re reading this in the future, CARtoons usually has some back issues in-stock, but there’s no guarantee!

Each weekend, a radio show airs on KTRS radio “The Big 550” in the St. Louis market called This Week In Classic Cars. British magazines Classic Fords Modified and Retro Ford Magazine feature 10 pages of the top modified Mustang and Ford builds from SEMA Show ’22, in the latest issue. SEMA is the largest automotive aftermarket event of the year. If you are lucky enough to experience SEMA you are sure to experience Kevin Oeste. Kevin hosts SEMA Ignited and SEMA Central which include interviews with automotive celebrities, industry experts and influencers. SEMA 2022 was anticipated by many after coming off the pandemic years; however, SEMA 2023 just may prove there are further enhancements and higher exceptions.

V8 Speed and Resto’s own Kevin Oeste was a recent guest on the JP Emerson Show, in which JP asks “Is Kevin Oeste the Ryan Seacrest of the automotive industry?” We suppose you’ll have to listen to find the answer to that one, as well as some history on how Kevin got started in this business as well. Click the link to listen to the show. Thanks JP!

The V8 Radio team was in full-force at the 2021 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, and this is just one of several episodes covering the event.   You’ll find a general overview of the show, and also an interview with Mike Copeland of Arrington Performance about their supercharged LS-powered 1948 Chevy pickup that they reconfigured to run on Hydrogen!   It got tons of attention at the show, because it makes around 500 horsepower with nearly zero emissions!   Is this the future of hot rodding?   Throw in some trivia and other nonsense and you have another engaging episode of the V8 Radio Podcast!
