On this episode of the V8 Radio Podcast, Kevin and Mike share their thoughts on the recent announcement from GM saying they are not going to produce tailpipe emissions vehicles after 2035. This obviously is a hot topic, and our hosts have a few thoughts on the matter. They also tangent into what it’s like to drive a classic car every day. Of course, there’s automotive trivia and other silliness, (Kevin names a new Chevrolet electric vehicle!) and much more on the V8 Radio Podcast!

This beautiful Hugger Orange 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS has some great updates under the hood, including a Holley Sniper fuel injection system, a serpentine front accessory drive system, and clean traditional finned Holley valve covers.  It’s powered by a 400 small block tied to a 4-speed manual transmission.  However, the customer wanted to make sure the car was performing to its highest potential, so it came to the V8 Speed and Resto Shop for some EFI drivability tuning and a quick once-over.

Our friend Chip Foose is on record saying that “nobody needs these cars”, inferring that a custom car is not essential to life like food or water. However, on this episode of the V8 Radio Podcast, Kevin Oeste and Mike Clarke discuss the realities of how important cool cars are to passionate enthusiasts and how they are often ingrained in us from childhood. And don’t worry, they didn’t forget the automotive trivia and other nonsense, either!

Host Kevin Oeste caught a bug, thankfully not COVID, but he was down for the count. But today, Kevin and Mike “Q-Ball’ Clarke are back at it, with updates from the V8 Speed and Resto Shop, a big update on Mike’s 1967 GTO engine build, automotive trivia, and much more. Thanks for hanging in there, V8 Radio presses on!
