This clean Dusk Blue 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS convertible will be transforming into a powerful machine with driving capabilities far beyond any original 1969 Camaro ever had. Plans call for updated LS3 power, modern suspension, creature comforts, and a bright Ferrari red paint scheme. Follow the build here!

This amazing custom blended metallic blue 2-stage paint was formulated by V8 Speed and Resto Shop painter Jeff Wittlich before he sprayed it on a 1969 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster we’re restoring in the shop. These photos are “straight out of the gun”, meaning the paint has not been sanded or polished… but will sparkle even more when it is! The V8 Speed and Resto Shop Body and Paint Center is top-notch, and we’re always happy to spray original or custom colors on classics, customs, and muscle cars. Click To See More!

This clean yellow 1966 Dodge Coronet convertible arrived at the V8 Speed and Resto Shop in need of some maintenance and TLC to make it a reliable and fun cruiser. It’s got a 383 under the hood, fed by a F.A.S.T. EFI system, and it spins an automatic transmission. The cool part is that this is a family heirloom car that has been passed to the current generation, and will always remain in the family. The owner’s parents had a ’66 Coronet like this one brand new, and recaptured those memories when they purchased this one a few years back. Today, their children and grandchildren are excited to enjoy the car and continue the legacy.

This bright red 1967 Chevrolet Camaro arrived at the V8 Speed and Resto Shop looking for dramatic handling, power, and reliability improvements. The recipe calls for a Roadster Shop chassis fueled by an LS3 engine swap. Follow the pics to see the build progress!

This cool 1949 Oldsmobile is powered by the original 303 Rocket Oldsmobile V8, but is wearing a smooth custom look with a lowered stance, vintage green exterior, and fully a finished interior. The 1949 Oldsmobile joined Cadillac as the second American automaker to mass produce an overhead valve V8 engine, and this version remained in production until 1953. The V8 Speed and Resto Shop team aims to make the car more enjoyable to drive all day long, installing power steering, air conditioning, disc brakes, cruise control, tilt wheel, and perhaps some seat upgrades as well. Fuel injection might be in the cards, we’ll post all the pictures and videos here so you can follow the progress of this unique resto-mod street rod… is that a “Street Mod?” Hmmm…

Today we’re setting the wayback machine to November, 2014, where we find the “Mr. Chevy” 1955 Chevy gasser riding on the back of “Carried Away”, it’s personal matching ’55 hauler as they exit the 2014 SEMA Show lighting up the SEMA Cruise on their way out the door. In this shot, SEMA Cruise Emcee Joe Sebergandio fires up the crowd – who was already fired up – as the golden gasser makes a grand exit. “Carried Away” was restored by the V8 Speed and Resto Shop, while “Mr. Chevy” remains as it was when completed back in the late 1960s. You can see the restoration photos and videos of Mr. Chevy at this link. Today, Joe Sebergandio and V8 Speed and Resto Shop’s own Kevin Oeste still have fun hosting the SEMA Cruise… a rolling car show where you truly have no idea what could be rolling by next!
