“This Week in Classic Cars” is a radio show covering classic and muscle car restoration and performance topics, and it airs weekly on KTRS 550am Radio in St. Louis. The show recently added V8 Speed and Resto Shop’s Kevin Oeste to the line up, joining host Josh Gilbert and Jeff Homsher, Owner of It’s Alive Automotive. Tune in each Sunday at 1pm for the latest episode!

We’re fortunate to work with so many great partners in the performance aftermarket industry, and we were happy to spend some time with our friends at RacingJunk.com at the 2022 PRI Show in Indianapolis.

RacingJunk.com is a great place to go to find and buy nearly everything racing related, from tools to trailers, racing suits to race cars, and anything else you can imagine. They’ve been a staple on the web for over 20 years, and remain a deal-finder’s go-to for buying and selling racing stuff!

This bright red 1967 Chevrolet Camaro arrived at the V8 Speed and Resto Shop looking for dramatic handling, power, and reliability improvements. The recipe calls for a Roadster Shop chassis fueled by an LS3 engine swap. Follow the pics to see the build progress!

Kevin Oeste and Mike “Q-Ball” Clarke welcome two special guests to the V8 Radio Podcast, as Angella Sharpe and Jason LiCavoli join to spread the word about the upcoming Cruisin’ Lindbergh event in St. Louis on April 29, 2023!   Cruisin’ Lindbergh is a fun, family-friendly car cruise that is a throwback to the days when South Lindbergh Boulevard was the place to be.    Today, the Cruisin’ Lindbergh event brings out hundreds of cars and trucks of all kinds, from classics and muscle cars to lifted trucks and exotic sports cars.    Hear all about it, plus automotive trivia and much more, on the latest V8 Radio Podcast!

We had an AWESOME night hosting the Red Bud Chamber Business After Hours. Local businesses had the chance to meet V8 Speed and Resto Shop owners Kevin and Kelle Oeste, and enjoyed shop tours seeing restorations and customized cars from all over the world. We’re happy to make Red Bud our home!

British magazines Classic Fords Modified and Retro Ford Magazine feature 10 pages of the top modified Mustang and Ford builds from SEMA Show ’22, in the latest issue. SEMA is the largest automotive aftermarket event of the year. If you are lucky enough to experience SEMA you are sure to experience Kevin Oeste. Kevin hosts SEMA Ignited and SEMA Central which include interviews with automotive celebrities, industry experts and influencers. SEMA 2022 was anticipated by many after coming off the pandemic years; however, SEMA 2023 just may prove there are further enhancements and higher exceptions.
