This 1967 Pontiac GTO came to the V8 Speed & Resto Shop ready to start a new life. We stripped the car, performed extensive metal repair with parts from OPGI, rebuilt and upgraded the chassis with parts from BMR Suspension, added disc brakes, and FiTech fuel injection to the 400 V8 engine. We reupholstered the complete interior and vinyl top in-house. The body was restored and painted in Tyrol blue, and the GTO scored top honors at the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals in Chicago on its first time out! Now this amazing GTO restomod is a show stopper with great driving manners!

Content: First-time viewer. Extraordinary car, extraordinary craftsmanship, and extraordinary video. I believe this is the best automotive video I have ever seen. Super photography, great narration, and superior music. Thank you, thank you, thank you for using some other than the stereotypical louder-than-the-narration-mediocre-screaming-electric-guitar that is generally inflicted on viewers. Truly a professional video.

Content: I know these videos are time consuming and you have a shop to run, but I sure love these longer and more detailed build videos like the early days of your channel. Thank you guys and gal so much!

Content: Absolutely magnificent work. The video detailing start to finish is perfect. I can’t see how anyone could have any doubts about the quality of work done or available at your shop. Even going back to the old shop and early videos, your work ethic and quality has remained exemplary.
This is my favorite kind of build. Bless yall.

I call this kind of thing “rolling art” and it truly is!! I’m currently restoring a ’69 Mustang Fastback for it’s original lady owner who’s daddy purchased it
for her back in ’69 from Pasadena Ford. It’s all stock and number’s matching in Aztec Turqouise with stock black bucket seat interior, 351, AT, PS and PB.

Content: Wow, what a great video highlighting this incredible restoration. With the possible exception of being a 4-speed rather than an automatic, a โ67 GTO in Tyrol Blue with a black top and interior is one of my all time top three dream musclecars. You all did a magnificent job on this one and the modifications are just right; maintaining the soul of the car but adding to the driving experience. And one thing is for sure, this begs to be driven. Iโve always enjoyed the Musclecar of the Week features and I look forward to the restoration features as well. Thanks for sharing, it made my morning and you have a new subscriber.

Content: I do like the better than new restoration of cars. This one appeared to have the right balance of modernized and original parts. I think back to some of the cars that I have owned and a process like this applied to them would be an amazing sight to see. I would drive them too. Thanks for sharing this project with us. I think my great Uncles 73 Chevrolet Caprice would be a fun one to run through this process. Not a muscle car but still it brings back some good memories.
