Welcome to The Brothers Collection, probably the most comprehensive collection of Muscle Cars in the country – if not the world. It features hundreds of cars from from all makes… Hemi Cuda converts, ZL1 Camaros, even ’57 Rancheros with factory superchargers. The Brothers are actually Brothers and friends of mine. They are nice guys that value their privacy but want to share their love of cars. We think that Muscle Car Of The Week is a great way to share some of their collection and we think Kevin Oeste is the perfect car guy to bring them to you. The Brothers Collection is not open to the public at this time so Muscle Car Of The Week is the best way to see some great cars and we think Kevin does a great job of bringing people up to speed on whatever Muscle Car we feature. The features are usually not just only about that actual feature car but also that model in general. The Brothers are also usually nice enough to loan a couple cars each year to the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show in Chicago, so you have the opportunity to see some of their cars in person – check the site at http://www.mcacn.com. Thanks for your time and we hope you enjoy the weekly features.

We build lots of Camaros in the V8 Speed & Resto Shop, and each is different and unique.

This is an interesting car for many reasons, beyond the 800+ HP Mast Motorsports supercharged engine. We’re using a new Dynacorn body on this one that we bought from Classic Industries, so the entire car will be new. The owner had no real attachment to a particular car, he just wanted a Camaro.    The car features the best of everything… Detroit Speed suspension, Baer brakes, Forgeline wheels, Toyo tires, Hydratech brake booster,  MagnaFlow exhaust, and much more.

This is the complete photo gallery from start to finish!

The S71 Olds made the cover of this month’s Popular Hot Rodding Magazine !  There’s also a full color feature inside.   We are really honored to have one of our creations featured in this special issue, along side of some of the coolest cars from the SEMA show built by the best in the biz.   One thing we’d like to point out is that the engine was built by Bill Trovato at BTR Performance (Not Kevin as the mag states, so give him a call if you want your own screaming Olds engine) and they transposed the name to SR71 from S71, but it’s all good.   We’re very proud of the car and our crew, and can’t thank our friends at Popular Hot Rodding enough for the coverage!    Now go buy a copy for yourself… there are TONS of killer cars in this issue!  Contact the V8 Speed & Resto Shop today to learn how we can build YOUR dream car!

The V8 Speed & Resto Shop Crew recently finished a complete restoration on this 1964 Chevrolet C-10 pickup truck including suspension, rust repair and sheet metal fabrication, and more.    They installed a GM L92 6.2 liter V8 powered by a Mast Motorsports ECM and using Holley accessory drive brackets, oil pan, and Hooker exhaust manifolds.   A Mast cam and valve springs were installed, yielding approximately 525 horsepower.  A TCI 4L60E transmission is used to provide an overdrive gear, and the truck rolls on Mob Steel 20″ wheels.    The finish is satin black with a charcoal silver roof, wheels, and side trim insert, and the bed is all new wood.    The interior featured a leather seat, Vintage Air A/C, a Dakota Digital box to allow the original speedometer to work with the modern transmission, upgraded audio, and more.      Click “Read More” for the photo gallery and video of the process!
